Elo there,
second post on my mac - exciting!
I have finished work on the game of thrones base, using quite a bit of birch seed leaves, brownish flock, and a teeny tiny flower/bedding plant weird thing which I think is amazing!
Also made up a new thinner batch, 50% water, 50% flow improver and 10% slow dry... I think that I have overdone it on the slow dry, possibly not though, it is a total pain in the backside to get the slow dry to mix with the water/flow improver as the flow improver is kinda soapy and the slow dry is gloopy!

Game of Thrones Base + next project.
I have applied the washes as mentioned in the last post to the base. I drybrushed all of the stone up through dheneb stone and white. (same with the urn) The wood had some more of the brown colour with a bit of snakebite leather on top before a pure devlan mud wash.
next project will be marneus calgar, he narrowly beat out the nurgle champ!
Just in case you did not know who he is Marneus Augustus Calgar
TL:DR (hard as ****)

Game of Thrones - base
This is my attempt at a base to place my two Game of Thrones chaps on. It is the fight between the mountain and oberyn martell (3rd book IIRC)
Drybrushing only at this stage, 3 flavours - pot/wood/stone.
Washes and lots of drybrushing will make it look a lot more natural. Thinking black wash for the pot, greeny/browny/black wash for the wall and a blacky/browny wash for the floor.
I know it looks more outdoor than indoor and the wall looks a bit funky sitting there but sue me it's my first big base. Looks pretty awesome already IMO.
really like the job I did of the brown on the characters bases, refreshing to see it smooth instead of sand/gravel.
Looking over those pictures now I maybe should have gone Terra-cota for the big pot..... but it is a nice contrast.

Oberyn Martell - Completed
OK he is 99% done.
A lot of work was done on the surcoat and I'm now pretty happy with it. I also gave him leather shoes (aint I kind), finished off all other bits and bobs.

Oberyn Martell - "The Viper"
A start made on this dude.
Basecoat mythiril on the steel, basecoat snakebite on the gold/leather glove. Also a start made on the patern on his chest, very instricate, no idea how I am going to paint it... i might try a drybrsh and just make it a lighter red than the rest of his surcoat.
too fine detailed to paint onto it...
Oh and his face was basecoated and washed... forgot to do his bare hand... d'oh! I have pictured the paints I am using for the skin and they are mostly new shades, nicely expanded skin range from GW.
Also a gryphonne/violet wash for the skin is looking really good. bit of violet is so nice.
