Oberyn Martell - "The Viper"
A start made on this dude.
Basecoat mythiril on the steel, basecoat snakebite on the gold/leather glove. Also a start made on the patern on his chest, very instricate, no idea how I am going to paint it... i might try a drybrsh and just make it a lighter red than the rest of his surcoat.
too fine detailed to paint onto it...
Oh and his face was basecoated and washed... forgot to do his bare hand... d'oh! I have pictured the paints I am using for the skin and they are mostly new shades, nicely expanded skin range from GW.
Also a gryphonne/violet wash for the skin is looking really good. bit of violet is so nice.

The Mountain - Yellow
Work on the cloth is almost complete, loving the citadel glaze yellow, helps yellow it up a lot. About 70% pleased with it... not too sure how well it has come off...
Couple of bonus pictures of nurgle champion sprue and him fully assembled. (chrono order on the yellow)

The Mountain - Armour highlights + base design
I have come up with a random pot luck idea to highlight the armour. I used space wolves gray and a bit of shite in with the mythril silver... Check out the pics, it looks really good actually, does not photograph very well (it probably would if I put any effort into taking pictures)
Anyway the armour is done! I had a little bit of a shot working on the layout for the base as well check it out! (I am clever so I used paint)
my weathering pigments may get an outing here... hrmmm...

Fenris Games - basing materials.
As you can see from the pictures below I bought some random bits n bobs for basing etc... from fenris games. I tried to get some close up shots of everything so you get an idea of the quality. It is basically a bag of assorted stone rubble, mixed crates, small barrels & pots/urns etc...
Very impressed with the texture finish on the pots. Quite a few very small bubbles etc... but a perfect level of casting is hardly required for scenery.
Overall very impressed - head on over to his site and have a look, I wouldn't say it was very cheap but it is a niche product and I'm glad I can get a hold of cool stuff like this.
