More sea painting, dwarf ship complete, elf ship started, ARGH undercoat!

Small update with some progress - destined to fail my paint all of dreadfleet goal I am afraid!

Some sea progress shots, I think every bit of water has now been painted, just need to highlight with white.

Dwarf ship is finished, nice quick paint job on it. Really happy with the result.

I have started work on the elven ship, that dheneb is getting a blue wash then highlight up to white.

Ran out of bloody white undercoat with 1.5 ships left to do grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!

Some sea work, treasure, terrain & GW PURITY SEAL ARRRRGH!

Did quite a bit of sea base work today as well as 90% finishing my terrain test piece.

The pictures are really not showing the colours up on the terrain at all :(

GW purity seal almost fucked up a all of my plague monks but I think I managed to save it by doing a couple of thin washes. It has also damaged the treasure (neither pictured) but I think a wash or two should sort them out. "fixed" plaguemonks are pictured, looking a lot more brown....

I am actively seeking an alternative and it will be tested on something before I use it again.................

I am trying to set a goal of having most of dreadfleet painted up by this time next month...... we'll see how that goes!

Dwarf Ship work & sea painting.

I love painting the sculpted sea bases!  Finished 3 off and they are looking fine (If I don't say so myself)

Some more basecoat work, everything that is going to be gold/bronze has now been basecoated. Also  black wash over everything.

Really once I finish the greens and bring the metal up a level or two it is done.

Would love to hammer through the whole box set on my time off... but we shall see.

Decided to take a picture of my preciousssss paints... because I've gotta have them all! and my drawer of modelling weirdness.

Picture heavy...... been doing stuff but not updating...

Dwarf ship from Dreadfleet is taking shape......... probably the easiest one to paint out of the lot.3 stage green effect on the green panels... I think the whole shebang is for a black wash though.

enjoying painting the sea. It's the three blue colours in the background of the first piccy. Then a green/black wash and white highlight.

Skaven Work

Work is almost completed on the Skaven, I just need to get the basing sorted.

Really happy with the results and excited to move onto the next project!!!!
